Air Jordan 4 Retro OG Nigel Sylvester Brick After Brick marks the return of the pro BMX rider and Jordan Brand athlete in a highly anticipated collaboration, a direct follow-up to the Brick by Brick, voted Sneaker of the Year 2025 by Complex. Released on May 22, 2026, this new iteration is part of a strong personal narrative: if Brick by Brick was about building success brick by brick, Brick After Brick is about the discipline it takes to maintain it. A logical continuation for Nigel Sylvester's sixth Jordan Brand collaboration in two years, and which marks the major sneaker event of spring 2026.
The Brick After Brick colorway operates in direct dialogue with the iconic 1989 Air Jordan 4 Fire Red. Premium Sail cream leather upper forms an instantly recognizable archival base, topped by a mini embroidered Swoosh on the toe, a signature of Bike Air collaborations. The muslin mesh panels on the tongue and sides feature reflective 3M inserts that come alive in the light. Cinnabar red, warmer and more brick-like than the original Fire Red, punctuates the lace locks, tongue lining, and midsole. The heel tabs adopt a textured, aged suede finish reminiscent of brick, in direct visual continuity with the first opus.
In terms of construction, the Air Jordan 4 retains its performance basketball DNA: visible encapsulated Air cushioning in the heel, sculpted mid-cut midsole, plastic counter on the sides, and rubber cup sole for traction. A proven mechanism since 1989, keeping the model at the top of the game.
