Nike Air Max Plus One Piece Mera Mera is the fire pair from the Devil Fruits pack. The Mera Mera no Mi is the fruit of Portgas D. Ace, later passed on to Sabo: a Logia that transforms its user into flames. Nike took the concept quite literally.
The textile upper transitions from bright orange to yellow in a continuous gradient, covered in flame patterns. A few jade green accents tone down the look, and the crew's Jolly Roger takes its place on the tongue. The base remains that of the Air Max Plus: layered cage, Tuned Air unit, sharp silhouette. Honestly, this is the one of the three that stands out the most from a distance.
Its distribution was very regional: Japan, Korea, China, Mexico, then Australia via a pop-up. In Europe, it arrived late and in small quantities. If you’re team Ace, this is the one to hunt for in the One Piece collab. The complete collection also included jerseys, t-shirts, and caps featuring actual panels from the manga, but the Tn Mera Mera remains the piece everyone remembers.
