To celebrate the Year of the Horse, Nike goes back to its own origins: the Pegasus Pack pays homage to the winged horse that inspired the brand's imagery as early as 1972, long before giving its name to the most famous running franchise in history.
On this Dunk Low, the Linen Phantom colorway establishes an earthy palette of true finesse. Linen-colored panels are layered with off-white leather overlays, while olive and dark hazelnut add depth to the Swoosh and midfoot. But it's in the details that the pair tells its story. Embroidered cloud swirls run across the quarter and collar. A winged Pegasus, taken from early Nike iconography, appears in tonal embroidery on the heel. The inner tags read "Running Free Since 1972," and each pair comes with a metallic dubrae stamped with the winged horse emblem. A mini red embroidered Swoosh on the forefoot awakens the whole with a touch of color (the kind of nod you notice after the fact).
