Nike Kobe 9 Elite Low EM Protro WNBA celebrates the women's league's thirtieth season. Kobe Bryant was present in the stands, a mentor to several players, and the bond with his daughter Gianna did the rest. Following the 2025 Kobe 6 Protro Total Orange, it is the Kobe 9 Elite Low that takes over.
The engineered mesh upper transitions from a bold orange at the heel, that of the WNBA logo, to a lighter peach orange at the front. The Swooshes and laces are a vivid orange, while the midsole and outsole remain in Summit White. The cable lacing, Kobe's signature on the lateral heel, the Sheath logo on the tongue, and the heel stitching (a reference to his Achilles tendon) are all there.
As a Protro version, the 2014 Lunarlon gives way to React foam, and the sole retains its fingerprint-style pattern. Releasing in unisex sizes in the 2026 season's Opening Day line-up, worn by the league's Nike athletes. Orange on a low, lightweight Kobe is a hit, especially with black: it's the pair that sets the tone for the outfit.
