Description

Nike SB Dunk Low Pro Bluetile Skateboards
marks the first collaboration between Nike SB and Bluetile Skateboards, a Columbia, South Carolina institution for 25 years. Released on May 12, 2026, this Dunk Low Pro, designed by David Toole, is in line with the most narrative SB collaborations of the past two years. This piece goes beyond a mere colorway, telling a story deeply rooted in its local territory.

The Monarch Butterfly concept is inspired by the monarch butterfly's migration, a symbol of resilience associated with the journey of Mexican communities that color the local skate scene. The upper features de-stitched suede overlays, resembling an insect, that are designed to intentionally fray, revealing a softer suede underneath. The metallic cracked Pitch Blue leather base features butterfly wing-shaped perforations, under which a reflective Orange Horizon material appears. The heels house the monarch print on unattached wings, for DIY attachment. The multi-colored fuzzy laces, the insect eye-like netted Swoosh, the separated Blue and Tile embroideries on the heel, and the South Carolina flag on the tongue complete the narrative. The ice blue outsole extends the story to the ground.

In terms of construction, the Dunk Low Pro retains its skate DNA: Zoom Air in the forefoot for cushioning, a grippy rubber sole, padded collar lining, and a thickened tongue to absorb impacts.

A sneaker for those who want an SB Dunk with a real story to tell, capable of holding its own against the most iconic collaborations in the segment. Wear it with raw denim baggy jeans, military cargo shorts, or black technical pants to let the rich color palette act as a visual accent.
