Adidas Cow Print
The adidas Cow Print represents one of the most unexpected turns the three-stripe brand has taken in recent seasons. Black and white cow print, sometimes with brown accents, applied to the brand's most iconic silhouettes: Samba, Gazelle, Campus, Handball Spezial. The result is instantly recognizable and has already become a strong marker in current streetwear wardrobes. On The Last Step, you'll find the most coveted adidas Cow Print pairs, in sizes often out of stock at classic retailers, and all authenticated before shipping. Spotted on TikTok, worn by Seoul's it-girls as well as Parisian sneakerheads, these pairs combine adidas' 70s nostalgia with the bold animal print that defines contemporary fashion.
Why the Cow Print pattern has become a staple at adidas
The return of animal prints on sneakers is not new, but adidas has pushed it further than its competitors. The Cow Print, however, goes beyond a simple trend. Its black and white interpretation acts as a graphic, almost geometric, print that integrates into minimalist wardrobes without clashing. This probably explains its rapid adoption by a clientele not typically accustomed to visible prints.
The brand has applied the pattern to several flagship silhouettes: the Samba, an entry point for many with its clean lines and soft suede, the Gazelle for its low-profile and photogenic look, the Campus for its more generous volume, and the Handball Spezial for fans of sharp colorways. Each model offers its own interpretation of the print, with more or less prominent spots and varying color accents.
Visual signature: the print that transforms the silhouette
The appeal of the Cow Print lies in the material it's on. On suede, the outlines of the pattern blend slightly into the fibers, softening the look and preventing a costume effect. On smooth leather panels, the contrast is sharper, more pop. Most available versions combine both: leather patches on a suede base, or vice versa. Details (three stripes, heel, gum sole) remain in cream or ivory tones to warm up the overall look.
In terms of variations, here's what you'll most often see:
- The classic black and white Cow Print, truest to the original pattern
- The brown and cream Cow Print, warmer, ideal for mid-season
- Versions with scattered patches, where the pattern remains discreet and subtle
- Versions with full print, where the pattern covers almost the entire upper
Adidas Cow Print: how to wear it without overdoing it
A strong print demands an outfit that lets it breathe. The rule is simple: if the shoes speak, the rest is quiet. With raw baggy jeans and a white oversized t-shirt, the Cow Print becomes the central element of the silhouette, with no visual rival. The combo also works with beige or khaki cargo pants, which provide a neutral base while remaining streetwear. For tops, a cream or mottled grey hoodie remains a safe bet, possibly paired with a matching cap to complete the outfit.
For those who love contrast, denim shorts with high white socks pulled up particularly highlight the pattern, especially on the Samba or Gazelle. And for those who want to play the tone-on-tone card, a deep black or cream total look will let the pair breathe without diluting it.
Sizing and care tips
The fit varies slightly depending on the model. The Samba and Gazelle run true to size, while the Campus offers a bit more volume. Generally, if you're between sizes, go for the larger one, especially if you wear thick socks. For care, suede and leather coexist on most versions, which requires a little attention: apply a waterproofing spray right out of the box and use a soft brush for suede areas. For stains on smooth leather, a damp cloth is sufficient in most cases.

FAQ — Adidas Cow Print
On which adidas models can you find the Cow Print pattern?
Mainly on the Samba, Gazelle, Campus, and Handball Spezial. Releases vary by season, and some silhouettes are only available in limited series.
Is Cow Print more of a men's or women's pair?
The pattern is unisex and widely adopted by both. Low-profile silhouettes like the Samba and Gazelle appeal to a mixed audience, while the Campus, being more voluminous, is often preferred by fans of chunky and streetwear looks.
How do you care for an adidas Cow Print pair without damaging the pattern?
Waterproof before the first wear, especially the suede areas. For routine cleaning, use a soft brush on the suede and a slightly damp cloth on the smooth leather. Avoid harsh products that can alter the white areas of the pattern.
Are adidas Cow Print available all year round?
No. Most releases are produced in limited quantities and arrive in seasonal drops. Some references quickly become hard to find, which explains their value in the resale market.
Can I try on a Cow Print pair in a The Last Step store?
Depending on stock, yes. Our three stores in Toulouse, Biarritz, and Montpellier regularly receive new pairs. Click & Collect also allows you to reserve a reference online before coming to try it on in-store.
