adidas Adistar Jellyfish Pharrell Williams White comes from VIRGINIA, Pharrell Williams' creative platform at adidas Originals, named after his home state. The Adistar Jellyfish is based on a 2005 runner, the Adistar Cushion 3, and exaggerates all of its proportions.
The name says it all: the midsole undulates like a floating jellyfish, and the 3D-molded rubber outer cage evokes its translucent exoskeleton. The upper is made of lightweight, layered, breathable mesh. This Triple White version (white, off-white, translucent light brown cage) is the cleanest in the lineup, as a response to the Triple Black. Jellyfish logos are on the insole and tongue. And the sole is phosphorescent. Yes, it glows in the dark.
The campaign was fronted by football wide receiver Jeremiah Smith. The launch took place via the adidas CONFIRMED app, then through select retailers.
