adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 Carbon Beluga is the third version in the Beluga lineage, following the original from 2016 and the Reflective from 2021. Nicknamed Beluga 3.0 by the community, it takes the recipe of the Yeezy Boost 350 V2 and shifts it toward darker tones.
The Primeknit blends gray and brown in a speckled weave, appearing almost zebra-striped depending on the light. The solar orange side stripe, marked SPLY-350, is the detail that made the original V2 famous. It is back, and it is what brings the pair to life. Underfoot, the full-length Boost sole is tinted in a semi-translucent charcoal gray.
A word on its history: the pair was scheduled for 2022, then postponed following the split between adidas and Ye. It eventually released during the Yeezy inventory clearance waves, which explains its relative rarity today. For those who missed out on the original Beluga, this is arguably the most wearable version of the three. The Primeknit hugs the foot, the Boost does the rest: the recipe that made the 350 V2 the most widespread Yeezy.
