Air Jordan 4 Retro London is the new chapter in Jordan Brand's City Series, following Paris, Shanghai, and New York. This time, it's London. Jordan Brand has not detailed the inspiration for the colorway; with the gray and weathered suede, everyone will read into it what they will regarding the city.
The Air Jordan 4 is dressed here in a smoky gray suede, slightly shaggy, weathered as if it had already seen a few winters. Black covers the midsole, tongue, eyelets, lining, and laces. Below, a Red Bark outsole, a brick brown that warms up the whole look. Under the transparent heel tab, next to AIR, you can read LDN. Inside the tongue, two words: Say less.
Each pair comes with a Nike LDN hang tag. The release took place via SNKRS, exclusively in the UK and Europe, in limited quantities. For those collecting the City Series, it's a must-have. For others, it's simply a very well-executed gray suede AJ4. The weathered suede will age well, and the gray, black, and brown palette can be worn year-round with ease.
