Autry Medalist Leather Low White Goat is the Medalist in its most refined version: white, nothing but white, and a material that changes everything. Here, the upper is made of goat leather, a softer and thinner leather than classic cowhide, with a light grain that catches the light beautifully. The micro-perforated toe and the Autry logo on the side remain in place, tone-on-tone.
The Medalist is the iconic model from Autry, a brand founded in Dallas in 1982 and relaunched in 2019. Its shape is inspired by American tennis shoes from the 80s: rubber sole, flat cotton laces, and a micro-perforated toe. The current version adds a slightly raised leather insole and a lining made of leather and cotton terry, two details you don't see but feel from the very first steps.
This all-white colorway is arguably the most versatile in the Autry catalog. It can be worn in summer with shorts, in winter with wool trousers, and it gives any outfit that little "riviera" touch that Italian brands do so well.
