Birkenstock Arizona Birko-Flor Black is the two-strap sandal Birkenstock has been making in Germany since 1973, here in its simplest version: all black. The Arizona sits on the brand's cork and latex footbed, moulded to support the arch, which takes the shape of your foot over the weeks.
Birko-Flor is Birkenstock's in-house material, a synthetic alternative to leather that the brand describes as soft on the skin, durable and easy to care for. Here it covers the two straps, adjustable with metal buckles, while the footbed is lined with black suede and the sole is made of lightweight EVA.
A black Arizona is the summer pair that goes with everything: shorts, rolled-up jeans, linen trousers, with or without socks depending on your taste. This colourway is a permanent fixture in the Birkenstock catalogue and comes back every season. For sizing, Birkenstock offers two widths: regular fit and narrow fit.
