The Clarks Originals Wallabee EVO Dark Sand Suede modernizes one of streetwear culture's most respected shoes without betraying its silhouette. Born in 1967, the Wallabee has spanned decades, changing camps several times: an English comfort shoe in its early days, then an unofficial uniform in Jamaica, and later a cult item in New York hip-hop when the Wu-Tang Clan made it a symbol in the 90s. The EVO version addresses the original's only real flaw: its natural crepe sole, which is sensitive to rain and wear. Here, a rubber sole reproduces the grainy texture of crepe, its raw appearance, and its natural hue, while offering much superior durability and grip.
