Here, New Balance has covered everything in cocoa-colored suede, right down to the 'N' on the sidewall, and had the pair assembled at its Flimby factory in England, as with all Made in UK models.

The brown is deep, more of a milk chocolate than a reddish-brown. A few cream accents provide contrast, and the off-white midsole lightens the overall look. A detail to look at closely: the cut edges of the suede reveal a lighter shade because the leather isn't dyed through. This gives a subtle tonal depth to the cutouts, especially around the eyestay. The translucent heel clip matches the color of the upper.
