New Balance 992 MiUSA Every Now & Then Mint Gum is a collaboration with Joe Freshgoods, through his label Every Now & Then. The Chicago designer, already behind several New Balance releases, unveiled this 992 as he opened the first Every Now & Then store in his city.
On the Made in USA 992 base, the upper combines soft beige leather, cream mesh and mint green suede overlays on the toe, heel, eyelets and N. A small American flag appears on the heel, the ABZORB midsole stays multi-layered and the outsole switches to natural gum. The sneaker press notes that Joe Freshgoods leaves behind the minimalism of his previous collaborations here and returns to a more structured silhouette.
