Nike Ja 3 Jurassic Park Green Spark is the bright side of the Ja-Rassic Park pack, the official meeting between Nike, Ja Morant and the 1993 film. The pack is made up of two pairs: the dark Raptor, and this version Nike nicknames Explorer. You are looking at the more expressive of the two.
The gradient does all the work. The mesh shifts from Green Spark, a bold acid green, to Dynamic Yellow towards the sole, while University Red scratches slash across the forefoot like bite marks. Nike says it drew inspiration from the brightly painted 4x4 that crosses the jungle in the film (the park's famous Explorer, hence the nickname). The vertical black Swoosh, a signature of the Ja 3, keeps the design easy to read. On the tongue, the Jurassic Park logo replaces Ja's. The insoles hide dinosaurs in the tall grass, and the special box echoes the park's cages.
Underfoot, the Ja 3 packs full-length Hybrid ZoomX foam, the cushioning Nike usually reserves for running, with a zoned outsole for changes of direction. It is a real basketball shoe, not just a collector's item. Going half a size up from your usual size is recommended.
