Reebok Pump Omni Zone II Dee Brown rejoue l'un des moments les plus célèbres de l'histoire des sneakers. Slam Dunk Contest 1991 : Dee Brown, des Celtics, se penche, gonfle ses Pump devant tout le monde, puis enchaîne les dunks, dont le fameux no-look. D'après Brown, une seule personne chez Reebok était au courant.
La Pump Omni Zone II revient dans sa construction d'origine. Tige en cuir noir, col en mesh, renforts TPU au médio-pied, semelle intermédiaire EVA et surtout la vessie Pump, activée par le bouton orange sur la languette. Du blanc sur les détails, une semelle gomme aux touches multicolores rétro, et le branding basketball brodé.
C'est une chaussure de 1991 dans ce qu'elle a de plus honnête : massive, confortable, avec une vraie présence. Portée aujourd'hui avec un jean large, elle fait exactement le job. Réédition sortie pour les 30 ans du concours, dans sa silhouette d'origine, sans retouche. Une pièce d'histoire pour ceux qui aiment les baskets de basket des années 90, avant que tout ne devienne bas et léger.
