Reebok Pump Omni Zone II Dee Brown replays one of the most famous moments in sneaker history. 1991 Slam Dunk Contest: Dee Brown of the Celtics bends down, pumps up his Pumps in front of everyone, then proceeds to dunk, including the famous no-look. According to Brown, only one person at Reebok knew about it.
The Pump Omni Zone II returns in its original construction. Black leather upper, mesh collar, TPU midfoot overlays, EVA midsole and, most importantly, the Pump bladder, activated by the orange button on the tongue. White on the details, a gum sole with retro multicolored touches, and embroidered basketball branding.
It is a 1991 shoe in its most honest form: massive, comfortable, with a real presence. Worn today with loose jeans, it does exactly the job. Re-release issued for the 30th anniversary of the contest, in its original silhouette, without any changes. A piece of history for those who love 90s basketball sneakers, before everything became low-cut and lightweight.
