Salomon XT-4 OG Lunar Rock Alloy Silver joue la carte du gris lunaire. Le coloris, référencé Lunar Rock/Alloy/Footwear Silver, pose un gris clair neutre sur toute la tige, avec un rendu légèrement métallisé que Stadium Goods décrit comme « sleek ». Une palette qui va avec tout, sans effort.
La XT-4 OG est, selon Salomon, une chaussure ressortie des archives, conçue à l'origine pour la course longue distance et présentée comme une célébration des meilleures technologies de la marque. La presse spécialisée (Hypebeast, The Sole Supplier) rapporte son retour en février 2023 sous forme de réplique fidèle du modèle de trail, et situe l'originale en 2013 dans la lignée S/LAB.
Côté fiche technique, tout y est : châssis Agile Chassis Skeleton sur toute la longueur, laçage Quicklace, maintien SensiFIT, semelle Mud Contagrip, mousse EVA double densité, bout protecteur et mesh anti-débris. La semelle de propreté OrthoLite moulée se charge du confort, pour un drop de 10 mm.
Salomon n'a pas précisé l'inspiration de ce coloris. Dans la vraie vie, cette XT-4 gris argent s'adresse à ceux qui aiment la silhouette technique des XT et veulent une teinte claire, qui éclaire un pantalon noir ou un jogging anthracite. Trail ou trottoir, elle fait les deux.
