Salomon XT-6 Gore-Tex Black Asphalt is the all-season version of the XT-6. Same base as the original 2013 model, designed for ultra-trails: the Agile Chassis System that stabilizes the foot, Quicklace fast lacing, and the Contagrip sole for grip on wet or muddy ground. Salomon adds a waterproof Gore-Tex membrane that keeps your feet dry in the rain while still letting them breathe.
Black upper, black lining, asphalt grey details on the overlays and logo. It's the easiest XT-6 to wear in winter, when the pavement is soaked and the lighter pairs are waiting for spring.
Salomon describes the XT-6 as a trail icon reinvented for the city, and this Gore-Tex version is probably its most practical expression: it goes from muddy trails to the subway without a second thought. Wear it with technical trousers, cargos or jeans, whatever the weather.
