Saucony ProGrid Omni 9 White Silver, the most understated version of the Saucony running shoe from 2010 brought back up to date. The ProGrid Omni 9 was originally a technical running shoe. Saucony has been reissuing it for the street for several seasons now, under the "Tomorrow, Meet Yesterday" label (in short, an archival pair with modern-day specifications).
White dominates, on a fine mesh and leather overlays. Silver inserts run along the sides, with reflective details that light up under a flash or headlights. The midsole is cream rather than pure white, which gives the pair its retro look right out of the box. Underneath is the ProGrid cushioning system inherited from the original model, and a rubber outsole.
It is a sneaker from the same family as the Gel-Kayano 14 or the 2002R: a true 2000s running shoe, with its original shape, worn with baggy jeans or cargo pants. The White Silver is the go-to colorway of the range, the one you can wear three seasons out of four without a second thought.
The fit is true to your usual size. For optimal comfort, however, Saucony recommends taking up to half a size larger than your usual lifestyle shoe size.
