Why the Air Max Plus was made for One Piece

At the beginning of August, an imposing installation inspired by the Poneglyphs from One Piece appeared in Harajuku, in the heart of Tokyo.

In the manga, these mysterious steles contain essential information about the history of the world and occupy a central place in the quest led by Luffy and his crew.

A particularly coherent way to introduce the collaboration: rather than immediately revealing the sneakers, Nike borrowed one of the most mysterious elements from the world imagined by Eiichiro Oda to let fans discover what was in the works gradually.
